Angus YIP Heung Wing graduated from the Junior Music Course of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Composition and Computer Music Technology and clarinet performance.
He is also a Preparatory Member of Hong Kong Composers’ Guild. In addition, at the age of 16, he was awarded the scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA and commence his study of Bachelor of Music Degree in September 2023.
At the age of 12 years old, Angus had already passed ABRSM grade 8 in piano performance with distinction.
When he was 13 years old, he passed ABRSM grade 8 in clarinet performance with merit. He also attained ATCL piano recital with distinction and passed the Yahoma Teachers Grade 5 in piano and electone when he was 15 years old.
