Chung was born in Hong Kong on 13 June 1984. He started playing the drums at 12,
with particular expertise in Metal, Rock, Alternative, Funk, Pop, Blues and others.
He is now a full time drums teacher.
Chung started his drums career at church, and was later invited to join the well-known
Hong Kong band “Maniac” as its drummer. Maniac has accumulated much performance
experience, having performed nearly 600 times over the years 2005-2019.
In June 2016, Chung furthered his skills under the guidance of the internationally
renowned drummer Thomas Lang. Maniac released its first album “記憶 凌亂 散落 Memories,
scattered, disoriented” in 2010, and went on tour on 29 May 2010 and received
raving/positive response from the audience.
Also in Nov 2017 Maniac released its second album “浪客⾏” in Music Zone Emax.Full
House sold out. The band is now active in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan,
