Clarisma’s name is a play on words, derived from the word Charisma. And Cl is the abbreviation of clarinet,
That is to say, Clarisma hope that through the music of clarinet, the audience can feel the charm of clarinet and music.
Clarisma Clarinet Ensemble held its inaugural concert in February 2022, and won the Hong Kong International Buffet Crampons Clarinet Competition Open Class ensemble Competition and Community Class ensemble Competition in August 2024. This is an internationally recognized clarinet competition.
All members of the Clarisma Clarinet Ensemble are graduates of the Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts. Some members also hold master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts, the United States and the United Kingdom. They are both very active in performing and teaching. Members of Clarisma are all elites in Hong Kong’s clarinet community.
Clarisma aims to bring music full of charm and imagination to its audiences. Their repertoire not only includes traditional chamber music and mostly new orchestral works.
Clarisma is also keen on promoting classical music in Hong Kong and will invite Hong Kong composers to create a series of new works in the future.
These new works will reflect Hong Kong’s culture and tradition, including a blend of Chinese and Western cultures.
The clarinet is one of the instruments closest to the human voice. Clarisma hopes to use the beautiful timbre of clarinet music to bring new experiences and insights to the audience by playing some famous classical music and even original Cantonese pop music.
They hope to showcase the essence of classical music by performing the most powerful excerpts from well-known works, allowing the public to easily enter the world of classical music.
Clarisma 的名字是一個文字遊戲是從Charisma 這個字改變而來而 Cl是單簧管的縮寫，即是希望藉着用單簧管的音樂，令觀眾感覺到單簧管及音樂的魅力。
Clarisma 單簧管合奏團於2024年2月舉行了創團音樂會，並且在2024年8月勇奪香港國際Buffet Crampons單簧管大賽公開組合奏組比賽冠軍及社會組合奏組比賽冠軍。
這是一個國際認受性非常高的單簧管比賽。
Clarisma單簧管樂團的所有成員均畢業於香港演藝學院。部分成員並且持有香港演藝學院、美國及英國的碩士學位及學士學位。他們都非常活躍於表演和教學。
Clarisma 成員是香港單簧管界的精英。
Clarisma 旨在為觀眾帶來充滿魅力和想像的音樂。他們的曲目不僅包括傳統的室內樂及大多是新編的管弦樂作品。
Clarisma 也熱衷於在香港推廣古典音樂，在未來將會邀請香港作曲家創作一系列新作品，這些新作品將反映香港的文化和傳統，包含中西文化交融的風格。
單簧管是最接近人聲的樂器之一，Clarisma希望透過演奏一些著名的古典音樂甚至粵語原創流行音樂，利用單簧管音樂優美的音色為觀眾帶來新的體驗和感悟。
他們希望透過演奏知名作品中最具感染力的片段來展現古典音樂的精髓，讓大眾輕鬆進入古典音樂的世界。
