Contests include basic theory, scales, triads, arpeggios, sight-reading and aural practice. from the City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelors degree with first class honours, she received the scholarship from Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. She has been teaching at Tom Lee Music Academy since 2004 and currently she is one of the senior piano tutors teaching diploma students.

During these years she learnt from Professor Edward Ho Grade 8 Theory (for which she received the Hedy King Robinson Awards from ABRSM for being the prize winner that year), and a host of piano performance and music theory diplomas including LTCL, LRSM, FTCL and LMusTCL, culminating in the FRSM, the highest qualification in piano performance.

Apart from teaching, she adjudicated as a juror in different competitions such as The Gifted Pianist Contest, Tom Lee Music Festival, etc. Moreover, she was one of the mock examiners who held Grade 1-8 piano mock exams. By having the mock exams, the candidates can realise their weaknesses so as to get better results.
