Hong Kong born conductor, trumpet performer and pedagogue, Mr. Fung Ka Hing received high reputation of his performance with great communicative power and charisma.
Fung has been the Yamaha Artist (HK) since 2013, and he was the principal trumpet of City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, guest principal trumpet with the Taiwan Philharmonic, Macao Orchestra and others. He also performed as a soloist with various orchestras and ensembles such as Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Taichung Philharmonic Wind Ensemble, and the Hong Kong Symphonic Winds, etc.
As a conductor, Fung has been the Associate Music Director of the Hong Kong Symphonic Winds since 2011. He also collaborated with the HKSW Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Music Summer Orchestra, The Symphonic Pops, and the Hong Kong Pops Winds Orchestra, etc.
Mr. Fung Ka Hing joined the HKAPA faculty as Lecturer – Brass, and also as the conductor of the Academy Concert Band in 2023.
小號演奏家、教學家及指揮馮嘉興先生於香港出生及成長。憑著出色的感染力及舞台魅力得到觀眾歡迎。
馮氏於2013年起成爲Yamaha Artist (HK)；他曾於香港小交響樂團及香港城市室樂團擔任小號首席，亦曾於台灣愛樂交響樂團、澳門樂團等擔任客席首席小號。隨樂團表演外，馮氏亦經常獲邀作獨奏演出，合作樂團包括香港小交響樂團、大台中管樂團、及香港交響管樂團等。
於指揮方面，馮嘉興先生於2011年起成為香港交響管樂團之副音樂總監，亦經常與 HKSW Symphony Orchestra 、Hong Kong Music Summer Orchestra 、The Symphonic Pops 、及香港流行管樂團等樂團合作。
馮氏於2023年加入香港演藝學院擔任音樂學院講師（銅管樂）與及擔任演藝學院管樂團指揮。
